Managed to buy a complete pup from ebay (misdescribed is an understatement) - so now facing the prospect of replacing most if not all mid and bass speakers.

I've measured the resistance of 1 blown speaker at 26 ohms (!)  - not sure if thats right or wrong  - more used to seeing 4 or 8 ohms on other stereos.

Can anyone advise on the speakers fitted and option replacements. There appear to be agood range of 4 and 8 ohm speakers that would fit - but what should I be looking for?

Any help greatly appreciated

They are not 26 ohm! The resistance is normally written on the back of the units - I do not know the values in this case but I suggest Dillen will do!
