Hello everyonei First post here.

I have 2 pairs of 1986 Beovox Penta towers that i'm fixing up. I've already refoamed all of them, and just need to re-cap the crossovers. I had 2 re-cap kits from beoparts in my shopping basket, but decided to wait and post here first because i have a few questions.

First, are the kits from Beoparts the best option? It's the only kit i see for sale online. Or could the caps be bought individually? Also, can or should i buy new foam sealing tape for the midrange/tweeter assembly and baseplate? The original ones are pretty much gone after removing the parts. And if so, where would i find it?

Also, are there any modern tweeter upgrades that will work in these speakers? Or is it too much work or not worth it?

And lastly, any other tips from people that have worked on these? Perhaps i have overlooked some things!

Thanks in advance!
