Beogram 8002. Recapped the main pcb and the sub boards. The 47uf cap replaced in the microprocessor box.I have been over this board under magnification and corrected all that I have seen.

Here's what it will (and will not) do:

Press turn- it spins

Speed select, is does this fine

Press play- the table spins up, tonearm comes out some but not near the record edge.

Press right and left - it will do this

Press stop- this only works after you press turn. If you try to stop from "play" it does nothing.

Tonearm will not lower.

I beleive I am close on this but at this point I am stumped.

Please, advice needed.

Update: I opened the LDC and found a spiderweb on the one section. Cleaned this out and now when you push play the arm goes all the way to the center of the record (doesn't drop). If I move the arm back slightly and press play the arm will drop and will play for about a minute before lifting and returning to home.

The other change from before is now 33.33 reads 99.99 and 45 reads 55.00
