Hi to all

Can anyone point me in the right direction with fault on beomaster 4400, its looks in very good condition and powers up but can't get any sound from any of the channels or head phones, i have also connected antenna and signal meter seem to be working well, i've also tried connecting an tape deck etc but still no sound. All switches are functioning nice and smooth.

Bit of a shame as its in very nice cosmetic condition.

Sounds like it needs taking apart and the fault traced. If it has not been apart before, I suspect you need some servicing with new capacitors to replace the red ones and probably trimmers. They do deteriorate with age. Martin can no doubt sell you a kit for the 4400 but do you feel able to do this yourself - I know I couldn't!

Hi Peter

Thanks for the info, definitely something i would not touch, would like to get it sorted and run it with a nice pair of m100 i recently got hold of.
