Recently bought a Beocenter 9500, 9500 turntable and two Penta speakers from two reputable dealers in refurbished B & O. Cables from Sounds Heavenly after explaining the set up. Both Penta speakers display all the relevant information but only one works. Insofar as sound coming out. Using Powerlink by the way. Swapped over the connections on the music centre with no change. I have one speaker with no sound but a full and relevant display. The last thing I want to do is have to return it for checking. I cannot believe the size and weight in these things. So help please. Switches on the speaker all rechecked to make certain they are all correct. Plus the switch underneath is in the audio position. Don't laugh but is there a mono/stereo speaker type switch on the centre. I have a Beo 4 remote as well. I haven't contacted the dealer but know he would help if asked. I just thought there might be a simple fix.

I take it that it is that one speaker is not working rather than one output on the 9500? In other words, if you swap speakers, does the other one work and the one that did work play? If so, it might be the powerlink socket on the 9500 and you can get round this if you want by connecting the Pentas together - - powerlink from working socket to Penta - powerlink from that Penta to second Penta. Set one to right and one to Left and see if it works!
