Dear members,

on my LCS 7000, the timer light is always on. How can one get it off? Mute turns on and off when touching the button but timer doesn't seem to react. Is it only remote-controllable?

Thanks very much!

Greetings,

Kai

Assuming its the LCS 9000 you are referring to?

On the BL 3500 if you key Shift 0 while the speaker is in standby you can switch between timer on/off

On the Beo4 I have to select Shift Go 0 - timer then turns on or off.

Hope this works for the LCS as well.

No, I was indeed referring to the LCS 7000. Very rare. However, I've read in the manual that it should be easy to remove timer by just pressing the butto as well. However, mine doesn't seem to react and the timer LED stays illuminated all the time.

Thanks!

Kai

I'm intrigued....

What does the LCS 7000 look like?

It's a very rare and quite valuable item that hardly anybody even knows. However, it suffer from the same problems as the Beolink 7000 since it's a two-way linkroom product with aging drying out caps. Does your link work, Leslie? I couldn't open it.

Thanks Leslie! Was this one of the items you possessed? Looks to be in fabulous condition!

Generally, a word of caution is in order here - these units suffer from the same problems of aging caps as the Beolink 7000. Therefore, most will be in need of service by now - even if you should be lucky enough to find one of those...

Cheers,

Kai
