Does this remind you of anything?

Beautiful design inspired by the shape of a flower bulb.

It look similar with Beolab 11 designed by David Lewis. Yes - thumbs up

What a shame to put the use the once prestigious Dragon moniker on a portable speaker.

Vinyl records, cassettes, open reel, valve amplifiers and film photography.

Off topic, nice to see you on the forum again Søren, I know you are busy studying and working, but a word once in while, we older forum members would appreciate  Smile

Thanks mate Smile

Have been working hard, with both my education (written assignments and practical workshop) and the spare time job - would sure love to post more here, and I'll see if I can make the time to read all the daily threads once again Wink

The plan right now is 37 hours of work as an apprentice at the maintenance department of the Danish national train service company, doing everything from metalworking, engine overhauls, test equipment calibration, PLC programming, electrician work, safety checks of brake cylinders to doing work on the actual trains.

Besides the "job" there I have to write a logbook for each day at work and do some assignments about the company structure and operation descriptions; and then there is the part time job in a local shop with 20-30 hours a week.

Will do my best to emerge here again Yes - thumbs up

Studying comes first, then the work. The forum you can do when you get as old as me. 70 hour weeks was it, also for me back in the days. As I love big machines, the trains would have been something for me, enjoy the mechanics, its a wonderful world that I still, after more than 40 years enjoy.

Yes, it's so sad. Nakamichi was a truly fantastic maker of electronics and mechanics - some of their cassette decks, for example, are works of art.

I am still doing a few (too many) 70 hot weeks. I must be doing something wrong !

At least Philippe's beoworld iApp and 3/4G coverage keeps me in touch - I was going to say "sane" but it's really the music on this iPhone that keeps me sane !

my first reaction was that it looks like a mini BL14 subwoofer trying to get out of a BL11.

Imitation is the highest form of flattery?

Personally, I think imitation is the highest form of laziness.

For me, laziness is a form of imitation... But maybe I have the wrong friends.

Big Smile Good description!

I don't know if they still make them, but back when I bought my BS9000 Nakamichi made several systems that were designed to look different, stylish all in one setups. One had a diamond shape, with 4 CDs arranged in the corners and a display in the center. These were about the only things other than B&O where a company tried to do a more upscale and interesting design. Though they didn't come close to B&O in my opinion, at least they were trying something different. I don't think they ever sold that well.

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus. Sad

It was the Soundspace systems. Soundspace 12 i think had the big diamond CD player... I liked the look, saw it was i was around 12 in a store and gasped at the $13k AU price.
