Dear members,
Our BeoPlay V1 (40") started producing a horrendous picture after the latest software update released September 3rd 2014. After the update the picture turned grainy resembling a bad overly packed MPEG. Also the colour reproduction seems to be impacted.
Since the change occurred immediatelyafter the update, I have ruled out the possibility of a hardware issue. The issue remains regardless of the input (TV [SD, HD], BluRay, AppleTV, Home Media etc.).
My question is, has anyone else encountered these issues and if so, have you found a cure? Furthermore, is there a way to reset the TV (i.e. factory reset, re-do the update etc.) or perhaps downgrade the software back to the previous?
Regards!
It sounds serious. What you should really do is contact your dealer incase they have heard of any others having this issue, and they can best advise you on the course of action.
Best of luck.
Hi,
Unfortunately there is no such thing as my dealer. After the recent development, all dealerships (aswell as service points) within a thousand km have closed their doors.
However, the issue seems to be gone after unplugging and rebooting the unit a dozen times. Fingers crossed that it stays ok.
My V1-32 has had no problems.
Works perfect.
Your troubles are probably already history by now 😊
