Thinking of taking the A8 to our place in France but don't really want to use an adaptor.  Is it possible to order a mains lead for the A8 with a French plug?

I think you will find one in every supermarket with a do-it yourself corner. It's very common ('8' plug ---- french main 2 pins); just search on eBay.fr 'cable secteur 8'

Oh right, so nothing special about B&O power lead.  Just bog standard fare

Standard figure 8 cable, and the A8 is multi-voltage so can be taken anywhere in the world!

It's only 'special' if you try to buy one via B&O.  I dread to think what they'd ask price wise for a bog standard kettle cable if you asked for one!

Dave.

I have obviously been naive.  There was I thinking everything about B&O was special!  Thanks for advice.  Just off to Amazon!

And it's not even French. This is a standard non-earthed IEC type C7 power cable that is used most everywhere in Europe except for the UK.

If it was French it wouldn't work anyway!  Much like the country and the government.

Really? Not necessary in a forum like this.
