Recommend a service guy in the UK

Hi,

I think my beomaster 5000 (80s version) could do with a re-cap and service. Can anybody recommend anyone in the north east (Newcastle area) if not the UK that can do this?

Hi Lee,

do you not fancy tackling it yourself with a cap kit from Martin (Dillen)?  Alternatively, you could ship it to him for a proper job.

I can't remember who Lifestyle AV use now but I'll have a quick look and see if I can find them.  You could always email Matt Russel or Lee at Lifestyle AV too and ask.

We normally use Simon Harry of AVA Services, but he's based in West Sussex - not the North East...

I honestly don't know any service engineers in the North.  All the 'old school' repairers seem to either be going, or have gone.

Bang & Olufsen of Liverpool have an authorised service centre with many years experience in  Bang & Olufsen audio and video products.
