I have read multiple threads about this but still couldn't figure out how to listen to the internal Beovision 6-22 speakers while having the screen off.

I use the Beovision as my secondary PC screen and PC loudspeakers.

Some people point out to the picture mute function in the Beo4 but mine doesn't offer that option.

Some other talk aout the Beo4 function V-AUX but didn't work for me.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

If you add "AV" to your LIST on the BEO4, then selecting it from the list prior to selecting your video source should switch the set on without any video.

Thank you for the suggestion Ron.

I have already used some of this AV combinations successfully with an old  Beovision Avant 28 but the Beovision 6-22 does not respond.

I have tried "AV"+"A.TAPE", "AV"+"V.TAPE", "AV-PC", "A-V.TP2" and "A-V.AUX" with the Beovision 6-22 turned off but nothing worked. The Beovision does nothing, just remains turned off.

For this to work, is it necessary to configure the TV with a particular "option"?. The Beovision 6-22 is configured as V.OPTION 1.

Let me clarify that I'm conecting the video output from the PC to the DVI input of the TV, and the audio output from the PC to the two RCA audio inputs of the TV which are associated to the DVI input. With the TV off I select in the Beo4 the option "PC" from the list and the TV handles perfectly the video and oudio output from the PC.

The missing part is how to turn on the TV just to handle the audio input signal Sad
