The kids are watching the Blueray of Polar Express for the millionth time using the built in Blueray player, and even at volume 90(full) it's not exactly loud! If I switch to Sky or Apple it blows the house apart.

How can I increase the volume from the built in DVD?

Chris,

volume 90 would take my windows out!

Has anything changed with speaker groups, or for home cinema/film settings?  Have you tried the DVD in another player?  I'd be tempted to re-calibrate the speakers for DVD watching.  Is it only for that one BlueRay disc and do other DVD's behave normally for volume?

What speaker group arrangement have you set-up for watching films?

Happy Christmas by the way!

Dave.

Thanks Dave , I'll try that. On a side note, this is why I wanted a Blueray player built into my Beovision.....

And I thought we had connectivity issues!  Where do you live?

I'm still at a loss to your issue with the volume.  Hope you can get it sorted.  The BlueRay is fantstic on the 7_55.  So far, we've had no issues with picture or sound quality.
