I have a Beogram 8002 which has for the best part of 10 years been packed away for various reasons. Having decided to sell it I notice that the r/h aluminium lid has come "unstuck" from the main hinge due to whatever the glue/material used has perished. There is a similar problem with the small square "sticky patches" underneath the square trim on the deck itself. Does anybody know what type of glue/material B&O used for this purpose?
many thanks

If the question is what kind of adhesive to re-attach the pieces with, go to an automotive store and get a high quality double sided adhesive tape.
This is much better than the white double sided tape you get from most hardware stores.
3M also sells an outdoor grade double sided tape that can be used. It is dark grey in color.
Others have tried using epoxy but I think the double sided tape is better particularly for the lid since it gives some cushioning.
I sent my requirements to my 3M tape supplier and he recommended VHB tape. I used RP26. It might be a bit thin for the under the deck trim. I used it and both locations with excellent results on the hige and good results on the deck trim.
