Hi,

You'd have many more answers if you asked in English Stick out tongue

I thought all Beophiles had learned Danish ;)

I am thinking about getting a beomaster 4400 but need some ideas for matching Beogram. I Already have the Beogram 9500, will they work together?

I know the 4002/4004 matches, but are there other Beogram players that will match it?

Regarding speakers I have the CX100 and S80.2.

What you have will work of course, but for the Beomaster 4400 (congratulations, it is a superb receiver, one of the best sound-wise) you really want a Beogram 4000, or a contemporary 4002, with a refurbished MMC 20CL or a Soundsmith SMMC20EN.

Don't underestimate a 70's Beogram 3000 with re-tipped SP 12. It is a great visual match too and does sound superb.

When you get the Beomaster, make sure it has been properly serviced, this is really important. Otherwise you might just end up disappointed!

And is the BM4000 a better receiver?

No, the Beomaster 4400 remains the best. It is well up to modern high end equipment.

Of course it will! Perhaps not the best B&O made - I have the original 5005 as a reference - but it still deserves an MMC2!

The Beogram 9500 and 5005 are mechanically identical, so I think the 9500 will do as a reference to ;)

The 9500/5005 are perfectly fine and both will obviously work - you will need to unscrew the pins 6 & 7 and tape then to the din lead so you don't lose them.

I agree that the best deck however is the 400x series - probably no better sounding but a better visual match and also of a similar quality in manufacture. I use a 400x with my 4401 and it is a good system along with my M100s.

Yeah, I agree with the above posts...The Beomaster 4400 looks much better paired with a turntable from the same era.
