Hi all, happy new year to everyone on the forum, I have just got my Beocenter 8500 here in Thailand after almost a complete year, although I did get the chance to play with it in May when I was in the U.K. For a few weeks

it was in perfect working order then, but it must of had a knock in the suitcase on the way over a couple of days ago, the sliding door for the cassette only opens about a third and then sticks, if I press load again it closes fully

i have looked at the old threads and it looks like it might be an easy fix but I need the service manual to work out how to remove the top panel, according to the manuals available on Beoworld it is there but when you open it is only a 5 page setup guide Is present, does anybody have a copy of the service manual available or failing that a few tips to gain access to the sliding door mechanism

many thanks

Hi there.

Look up the Beocenter 9500. It's the same. There are 5 service manuals for that.
