hello all!
please could someone help me access the service menu, as i need to make some adjustments and want to enable deinterlace mode, i read here http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=630 "Beovision MS6000 was basically an MX 6000, but the bass reflex loudspeakers were replaced by full tone units.." so i tried the method used for MX 6000 (using Beoworld 1000 remote) pressing Menu, 1 1 then Go to, but it won't work
thank you very much for anyone's help
There is no service manual on Beoworld for this model. However, some BV's have a 'service mode' plug/socket inside the rear panel on a PCB which needs to be shorted briefly whilst the BV is on TV. Maybe worth a look. It's on the MX 4000, 6000 and LX5000's.
Dave.
yes i'll try that, which pins have to be shorted, do you have any type of diagram so i can try it, do i have to open the back of the tv to do it?
the left top corner has a bit of a bow in the screen which i wanted to try to resolve, do you know if theres setting to resolve that
thanks

I'm no techy and don't condone playing with TV's as they are dangerous things back there! On the other BV's I mentioned, it's on PCB14 and is clearly labelled 'service mode' and looks from the diagram like a block connector with 2 access points which seem to have to be shorted (briefly). It just says to remove the rear panel and short those pins for those TV's. It' may not apply to your TV but may be worth a quick look.
could you send me a link to the diagram, or send me the picture please mate
thank you
i think it will be that because it says on the MS 6000 page that a MS 6000 was basically an MX 6000: ""Beovision MS6000 was basically an MX 6000, but the bass reflex loudspeakers were replaced by full tone units.."
It's on page 53 of the service manual. I can't copy it and post it here - I've tried but can't copy the page.
