I have a Beocord 7000 where the capstan motor often fails to spin when pressing play. If you give the spindle a gentle flick, it will start to spin. The unit plays ok. Even with no drive belt in place the same fault occurs. Applying very light pressure to the motor spindle (with no belt attached) causes it to stall. A light flick is required to get it spinning again. I've measured voltage to motor at 12.2 volts.
Anyone serviced one of these motors before or better to replace it?
