I have an older B&O television and a likewise old video recorder. I am quite fond of both, both design, size and usability fits me.
I am not absolutely sure but it looks like a Beovision 6 and a BeoCord V6000.
We have Danish Yousee cabel-TV in my flat and most channels are digital, but my good old TV is not. So I have acquired a yousee biobox with should make able to see the digital channels the send me. However the box expects to connect to the TV by a HDMI cable, and neither my TV nor my video have that. I would of course prefer to have a connection though the video so that I can also record from the channels I receive though the box.
Can I do that by a HDMI to SCART converter and connect the SCART to the V. Record Decoder on video?
If not, how can I otherwise connect this box to the B&O equipment?
Gitte
you have to have hdmi to dvi adaptor plus hdmi cable and an scard cable to yousee box (the DVI port it's in the right side of the back of TV) remember to connect the b&o IR Cable in the front of the yousee box and the jack back to the TV ,if you want to control the yousee box with b&o Remote control

Thanks for the answer, however I dont think it fully usable.
If I use a HDMI to DVI adaptor, I will also need a audio extractor and from that some kind og adaptor to DIN, as there is no audio in DVI. I have though of that possiilitiy, It just seems quite 'big' and furthermore I will not get the signal though my video as far as I can see, so I wil not be able to use the video. That is why I would like know if anyone have tried to set a Yousee bioboks on the V record decoder scart connection (thougt an HDMI to scart adaptor) on the video.
Regarding your comment on the scart: My yousee box, which is og type biobox, do not have a scart connector.
