Hello

Today my nest thermostat was installed and connected up.

It now appears in my homecontrol overlay

Should I be able to turn it up and down via home control or just view the current temp.

I've been using Nest for years and love it. After a short while of it learning your patterns, you really won't need to make many adjustments. I have it in my "Goodnight" scene to turn down the heat for sleeping. I don't have a beovision with a home control overlay, but I know you can control it using the BeoLink2 app. I usually control my Nest by voice using the Echo.

To fill in the missing part of environmental control, I recently integrated control of the Dyson humidifiers using Global Caché. The Global Caché was very easy to set up once Global Caché tech support told me that you must use a METAL paperclip to reset the unit. I had thought it was defective when I was trying to reset it with a plastic paperclip.
