Good evening beoworld members i have beosound 9000

 i purchased it a year ago

since purchased itis not working on remote

i tries beolink 1, beo 4, beo 6. but didnt work. whys thw problem in it.

and can i fix it by myself beacouse here is no service ceter in india . plz plz help me

It is probably set on Option 0 which disables the remote. Reset to Option 1.

With your Beosound 9000 connected to the mains and using the Beo4

Press STBY and LIST together then press

LIST until display reads OPTION ? then press GO then

LIST until dislay reads A.OPT press 1

Red light on Beosound should blink and remote will now work

What do you mean by "all utilities"?

Did you set the Option to 1 or not?

If you have no powerlink speakers plugged in the Beosound 9000 defaults to Option 0 every time you disconnect the mains.

Plug your speakers in and make sure that the Option is NOT set to 0.

The Beosound 9000 will behave eratically under bright spotlights and certainly will get confused and the remote will not work if you don't have the glass door fitted!!

The BeoSound9000 automatically adopts Option 0 if no powerlink plugs are detected.

When you tried to option programme as per the previous reply did the red standby light blink?

yes i tried option 1 on beo 4 while bs9000 in stndby. n glass door is close. i think its ir sensor faul.

can iopen it n rplace the sensor? i dont know where sensor is fitted.

plz guide me

I don't think that would affect the 9000.

The IR board is in the body of the unit near to CD number 6. It is on pcb14 and getting to it will not be a job for a novice.

I suggest that you send it to a service center for repair.
