The question remains - does this CD thingy actually do anything? According to some reports it does but is it quantifiable or just subjective?

A dealer who sells good hardware and good recordings in my neighbourhood offered me to add a little round patch on each of my CDs for 5€ only (one CD and I have a few hundred of these). I forgot his scientificoid explanation and my CDs still aren't treated and my wallet instead suffered attacks from a place NE of Esbjerg.
