2500 blown speaker maybe

hi

i have a 2300 system with 2500 speakers

does the main power have to come from the left speaker to run the entire unit?

also is it possible i have connected the power cables wrongly, for it to have blown the left speaker? it did make a popping noise but i got new fuse 2.5 but still cant get the system up and running..

thirdly,when i took the back off the left speaker and looked at the board,there is a wire soldered on the OUT section of the board,but its not connected to anything,i bought it second hand so not sure if some one has been altering things in there...

and finally,is the circuitry the exact same for both speakers...?
