I have noticed a very faint hum when my Beolit 12 is turned on.
The hum is there wether airplay is on or off.
Does anyone else experience this?

yes .But as I've said in another post its gone back to B&O now. the white noise was a little irritating next to my ear throughout the night as we used it for netradio at night. Will the A9 be better?

Not really. Id not thought about it too much . However, it never did airplay for us and was hard wired ,which was not good. When the catch on the side door failed that was too much though.
Mine hummed from day 1, silent, but audible when not playing music, or at the lowest possible volume setting. I can hear it from a few meters away, if it's really silent at home.
I did not find it to be a big issue. Mostly, when the beolit is on, it is playing music, otherwise I shut it down.

I've had three different BeoLit 12, all makes that noise. It´s audible from about two meters distance easily if you sit in ear height against the tweeters. It is a common sound on amplified speakers. Some are louder than others.
