I have been looking into replacing my aging BS1 and am considering a non-B&O receiver (Marantz SRx009). Has anybody figured out how to automatically trigger/turn on their BL5s or do you always have to turn them on with a B&O remote?

There are trigger devices/boxes (bosscom etc), or you can go with a Lintronic TT-455-Rt-248 which will turn them on when you turn your amp on (when set up correctly) via infrared. I have this setup which isn't cheap but works. I've tried making my own line-> powerlink trigger cables which worked, but which experienced various issues and sound quality issues which I documented on the forum, so I would recommend one of the other options.
