hello beos, anybody out there?

i have a beolab 6000 that initially powers up "green light" via power link, then after use for a some minutes will not power up again (stays on red led) if turned on and off.

if i turn it to line input it hums.

also the tweeter occasionally has a crackling sound like interference for a few seconds then disappears. i have tried another tweeter (same).

i looked everywhere but no posts on this.

any help much appreciated!

greets from berlin

so it sounds like i found it! diode 11 had a dry (badly soldered joint), soldered it and the problem seems to be gone. always amazes me how many bad solder joints one finds in b&o products ;)

Hello Phonic,

I have the same Problem with one tweeter, cracks and dissappears.

Where can I found the Diode 11? What are the steps for disassembling?

Greetings from the sunny Upperbavaria
