Hi all,
as mentioned in an earlier thread, I am looking into buying a B&O surround set. For my living room, in which I will have a beamer setup, I am either thinking of going with
a) a pair of Beolab 18s as front speakers, a Beolab 19 sub, and two Beolab 4 as small rear speakers just for surround effects
b) same as above, but with two Beolab 17s as rear speakers
or
c) a pair of Beolab 20s as front speakers, no sub, a Beolab 17 as a center speaker, and two 17s as rear speakers.
Currently, I am using high end Backes Müller active speakers, so sound quality is very important to me. I could only listen to Beolab 18s without a sub in a BO showroom, and was not too excited about the sound. But then again, I believe a sub could improve the sound a lot, especially for a surround setup.
What do you think?
Cheers from Germany
