Hi Michael :)

Definitely NRJ Funky (early 80s funk) from France, FM80 and Ibiza Sonica (but I tend to use its own app for that one).   I like Kiss FM Melbourne too Michael!

All of my radio listening is done this way now. I bought a DAB radio many years ago, but most of the stations that I liked at the time have either disappeared from it or are broadcasting in mono at wither 64 or 80kbps.

apart from all the BBC radio stations (BBC 4 Extra is good for comedy) I have Planet Rock, Soft Rock Radio, Jazz FM and just included NRJ after an earlier recommendation from Michael and I've just started adding podcasts to Tune In rather than using the standard iPhone app, just means every thing is there on all my platforms.

looking forward to others recommendations ....

yes I just stumbled on it by accident...  it does depend on the podcasters hosting company and which sites they upload you on...

Some of the stations from DR (danish broadcast).

And my favorite for 'getting inspired' from music I don't know - or had forgotten, that I knew - the american advertise-free station Radio Paradise, which has very good SQ.

There is a tv - and there is a BV

thanks MM for the Paradise Radio recommendation .... now in my preset...Smile

I have noticed a few or my favourite radio stations pulling out of Tune In and forcing me to download their own respective App which in my mind is illogical ... my radio taste is more eclectic than my personnel library and I use the radio to match my moods or if I am listening with my wife (who has different tastes) or during a dinner party, driving my car etc so am more unlucky to want download a particular stations app but have a library at hand.

it is probably down to local advertising revenues etc but using Tune In does give these stations more exposure..

One of my favourite stations too..... and notably missing from Tune-in when I searched for it.

I love this thread! <3

Too bad I was never much of a radio listener so I can't really contribute. :/ But I'm happily trying your suggestions and most of them are just excellent --> many thanks to everyone, last few days I was almost only using TuneIn because of that. :)

I agree it's illogical too.
