Dear members,
I have a socket box for the Beocenter 2, which is not really scratched but seems to have finger prints and other discolorations on the metal surface. Is there a way to clean that off? If so, how?
Cheers,
Kai
Hi again Kai,
I've just used a normal furniture polish spray and soft cloth on mine but as it's now out of sight I don't worry about it! Another candidate for the Renaissance wax I mentioned if you want to prevent finger marks:

Dave.
I normally use a magic eraser (found in most supermarket cleaning aisles) for non stubborn marks, I've also become paranoid and use my finger knuckle to operate touch surfaces, my crazy thought process thinks there is less chance of acid and marking by using the knuckle.
we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.

Hi Mark,
that's why I suggested the Renaissance wax as it's immune to the acids in sweat. Give it a try. I should be on a percentage as I suggest it so often!
