Hi,

I have a Beosound century with the green frets. As nice as they are Ideally I would prefer black. So rather then re trim, can I dye them? I can't figure out if the fabric is suitable or not.

Thanks :-)

New black frets are quite cheap and readily available.  I suppose if you're that unhappy with the current colour, you have nothing to lose by trying.  If they don't come out OK then you can resort to buying new frets.  Dyes aren't cheap either for a good one so I'd be tempted to just buy new - look much nicer on the Century and sell your old ones if they are in good condition.

Dave.

According to this recent post, ink jet dye works well in black.  See the post from June 08t:
