Bang & Olufsen has revealed that it’s launching a limited edition of the BeoLab 19 wireless subwoofer in rose gold.
Continuing Bang & Olufsen’s 90th anniversary celebrations, the BeoLab 19 is part of the Love Affair collection.
The collection has been designed to represent the 1920s when Peter Bang and Svend Olufsen established the brand and started their journey into technology. The products capture the mood and style of the time, which, combined with the warm fabrics recently developed in collaboration with fashion designer Stine Goya, represent a 90 year relationship between the company and its customers.
Aussie Michael: .....and they responded not answering my question.
About half past six Michael.
Now THAT actually looks stunning.
The rose gold stuff is very pretty and quite striking, but personally I feel that it would limit the color palette you could go with in future if you ever wanted to redecorate. The aluminum and black are easier to work into other color schemes. I felt the same way about the B&O colors in the past, striking and original, but hard to live with over time IMO.

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus.

Agree ... and because it was leaked here some weeks ago I was prepared for when the store rang me this morning with the news.
So I have placed my order ... lead time is two months.

Jeff Beovirus victim, it's gotten to be too much to list!
I think the subtle touches of rose golden are much more pleasing than the decadence of the entire product cast in such a color. The A9 is just splendid, as is, to me, this BL19 that started this thread. The black does cast off the RG. Like the BeoRemote one, I'm sure you can purchase the RG front separately through your dealer.
I find rose golden B&O product even more sculptural than the original versions which are stunning.
In apartments or rooms with subdued - or even better monochromatic color schemes - rose golden product shine like jewels. <3 <3 <3
vlohjr1: Thanks for keeping me grounded Jeff I did lust after a rose gold 18 with my aluminium 18 but you have now saved me a lot of money

I understand the temptation believe me! I've always been kind of fascinated by rose gold jewelry, and think it's a striking color for the Beo stuff. But for long term ownership the reason they went with aluminum in the first place, design wise, was said to be it reflects whatever color palette is in the room, making them blend in. I remember seeing that mentioned numerous times in their literature. And since my BL8000s are now 17 years old and still going strong, you better pick a color you can live with for the duration.
My BL9s of course can have different frets installed but I doubt I'll ever change from black. I even have a pair of red frets I got with them, neat color, but not for my room.
