ARCHIVED FORUM -- March 2012 to February 2022READ ONLY FORUM
This is the second Archived Forum which was active between 1st March 2012 and 23rd February 2022
We have been setting up our BeoSound 9000 which arrived this week only to find that one of our beolab 6000 speakers that we'd disconnected from the Ouverture wasn't working. Whilst the other half fiddled about cussing etc, I did a search on here and in the archived forum came up with a reply from Lee 9 in 2011 to a poster with the same problem. I called to OH to come and read it which he did and I then heard a mutter of 'I wonder' as he trundled off downstairs!
Lee's post says "First of all (and this sounds a bit silly, but bear with me) - check that what you think is left or right isn't 'line." This has happened before many times to my customers who simply thought that switch was simply left and right. It's not - it's left, right and line. If it's switched to line - the red light will stay on."
Hey presto it worked and we are now up and running and very relieved.
So this is a big big thank you to Lee for your help.
