Beolab 5000 speakers

Any stackable system like Beosystem 7000

The only outstanding item is the bl5000 speakers to go with above bs4500.

Otherwise a bigger house so I can display everything  Big Smile

I've just recently mounted my Beolab 5000 speakers with cables hidden behind the wall. However, the entire installation is not yet completed. Maybe I'll take some photos once it's done. The 5000s however look absolutely stunning in my environment and that most probably applies to many other environments as well.

Greetings

Watch out for BeoGram 4000's...  I was buying these 6-8 years ago for £20-40.  I have twelve - and I'm watching the prices going up and up. Cool

Some of the microphones are very sought after, as as some of the Radios (BeoLit 1000).

If I were to invest in something right now with a long term view of enjoying it on the meantime it'd be a BeoSound 9000.  Also, the black and white 7000 systems - and.. strangely.. if you have a pristine BeoCenter 2, keep it that way.  The mechanical action and styling of this unit will make it a future classic... People are starting to wake up to these, from an appreciation perspective - not as a radio alarm clock..  LOL

although I have no use or need I so want a BEOMIC 2000, there's just something about the design build execution ....

2nd would be a pair of BEOVOX 2500.....

we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.

What about really rare items like the Beo4 cinema or the LCS 7000?

Beogram 4000s for 20-40 pounds? Here in Germany you don't get completely spent non-working and taken apart for parts examples below 100 Euros...

Greetings,

Kai

Personally I would love to put my handles on BeoGram 3000 (of the re-badged Thorens variety).

Beautiful piece!

I've always kind of lusted after the Beocenter 9500...one was for sale on the other side of the country, a used audio place, worked, good condition, for $350, but the wouldn't ship it, and I didn't feel like driving about 2000+ miles to pick it up, one way.

Also, the wall mount 3000-4500 series, I have a pair of Beovox 3000 wall mounts, would love to have the whole setup. I also have a Beogram 3000 tangential.

+1 Yes - thumbs up

I think neither the bc2 nor the bl12s ever got the recognition that they deserved, but thats just me.

The bs9000 is so good I have 2.... and one is white !

If I can just persuade the FS that we don't need white walls in "my room"  I would put it up.  Whistle

I bet I will get shot down in flames for saying this, but how about the Beotime alarm clock? Big Smile I think it will become as popular (and as rare) as the Beolink 7000 in 10 years time.......

Kind regards, Steve.

I'm right there with you Steve! I have two Beotimes, one for each side of the bed. It has hands down the easiest, most logical control interface for setting the alarm and such of any alarm lock I've used since my old analog one that you turned a thumb screw to rotate the alarm needle around the dial. And it's a tactile wonder, it just feels so good in the hand and is so beautiful. If mine die I'll be a sad puppy.

Very interesting thread.

For me there is a list of products actually:

Bang & Olufsen’ s first stereo turntable (1959)

Bang & Olufsen’ s first cartridge SP1/2 - first version - (1959)

12” tonearm

The golden high tone speaker about 1960

Minette FM receiver  (196x)

Stereo Amplifier  -  Beolab 60x  (196x)

Beolab 5000 – Beomaster 5000 (1967)

Beovox 2500 Cube

Beogram 3000 w/ Thorens TD 124MKII

Beogram 4000

I am working with all of these wonderful products almost every day and I really enjoy this. Finding the products in good condition is NOT easy anymore, but the products are still out there. Smile
