Hello,

I just installed my ne Beovision Avant 55. When I turn it on, it asks for a pin-code. It is the first the time, the Beovison is turned on.

Can anybody help me an tell me, what the first pin code is? I can't reach my dealer, because it is holiday in germany.

Thank you very much.

Mirco

If the dealerr installed it - as they should, they should have given you the PIN!  If they haven't, shoot them for shocking service.  Are you sure you haven't got the PIN with the paperwork/invoice you have?  You can only get it from your dealer according to the user manual.

Dave.

Get you started maybe, if you have a beo4(joystick version)

0 press left arrow and hold, 4* become 5* release and enter 1   5 times gets you into service mode, lasts 10 hours then need to do it again!!

One of my gripes about B&O products is the damn PIN code nonsense. Most of their speakers don't have any, and those are the most frequently stolen items. My television doesn't need a PIN code for theft protection, it already has a perfect theft deterrent system; 120lbs of weight! Big Smile

BeoLab 5, BeoVision 7-55 MK2, BeoSound 5 Encore, BeoSound 9000, BeoLab Penta III, BeoLab 8000, BeoLab 6000, BeoLab 2, BeoLab 7-6, BeoSound 8, BeoTime (analog clock), Beo 4 remote.

You can disable it if you want.  It's a deterrant from theft/resale but also keeps the kids off if you want!  120lbs is one big dog!  I know what you mean. On the pallet, my 7_55 and stand were 180kg.  No chance of moving that out of my house.

My gripe is against the shocking service from the installing dealer!

Dave.
