I have two Beovision MX3500 which I offered for Beoworld members for free through the For Sale forum - sadly there were no takers. One is a black 3162, the other a white 3161.
I know that one of them has a Danish tuner, whilst the other has a UK tuner. Since analogue transmissions have stopped, this probably doesn't matter, but I really need to know which one has the Danish tuner before I offer them on ebay - after all, that one wouldn't be too useful to add to a UK Masterlink network.
Can anyone tell me which one was built for the UK, and which one was for Denmark?
Thank you,
Mark

The transmission standards aren't quite that segmented, so there's no specific version for Denmark. However GB is different, and according to the service manual, type 3162 is one of the GB versions (sound system I without NICAM). 3161 is a continental Europe PAL B/G/L version with NICAM.

Excellent - thank you each for your help. I'd looked at the odd three-character codes but couldn't make any sense of them, but PAL I as against PAL B/G/L I can understand!
