Beocord 7000 drawer getting stuck...

Hello all,

I've just acquired my first Beocord 7000 and could do with some help!

When it arrived the top cover wasn't on properly so I tried to re fit it. However, when it's on it appears to be impeding the cassette drawer. Without the cover is opens and closes perfectly.

Here's a pic of the inside of the cover. On one side it looks like the little metal tabs are angled out more. To me it looks wrong [:\'(]

Once I get this sorted its onto why the play head is stuck out!

Once again thank you! I didn't think it looked right but wanted to check before attempting to bend them back.

Success! I gently bent the tabs back and everything now fits and works smoothly. However, it looks like it's had something heavy on it as the top is slightly bowed but not so much that it impedes the cassette drawer.
