Someone helped me out on this a couple of years ago, it worked a treat and now I cannot find my original post on here.

I have an MX5500 and VX5000 and Freesat box that I operate via a Beolink 1000 remote.  To access the Menu I have to press the "TV" button which used to show the old analogue TV reception but is now redundant.  In Menu mode what do I press to store what I want in each SCART socket, so V-Tape 1 and CDV and Decoder etc. settings.  Is it "Store" as one would think or is it "Play" or "Go To" as I am getting confused with the MX7000 and Beo4 controls I use on my downstairs system.  At the moment it is not storing my setting and the only way I can get to view TV channels through the Freesat box is by pressing "V-Tape" and then this means I cannot use "V-Tape" for commanding the VX5000.

When I last used this set up a couple of years ago some kind chap told me not only how to store settings via Beolink 1000 but also how to attribute different sources to the buttons I wanted on this remote and without using the "Shift" button so I had my Freesat box being viewed when I pressed "Sat" and VX5000 when I pressed "V-Tape".

thanks
