My Xmas ebay Beogram 7000 has just arrived and it looks to be in very good condition for something dating back to 1993. Have to buy a cartridge and a European to UK wall plug adaptor but in the deep packaging I found this strange black plastic item. What is it and what do I do with it? Where does it fit in the Beogram?

It fits over the cables running from the carriage to the muting switch board.
It holds them down, free of wires etc. when the carriage travels.
