Quick question this:
I am considering buying a BeoPlay A2. Is the hardware unchanged from release? Are we still on a MK1? I've seen there is a software update for the Beoplay A2, but I'm also confused by the fact that there are two versions listed on Amazon and that one was replaced.

Its the same version as far as I know
The software update makes 2 A2s act together as a stereo pair
So maybe one depicts pre software update and the other one shipping with the updated software - but the hardware is all the same
My latest A2 which is only a few weeks old still had the old software and I had to update it. I don't know when B&O will or have started shipping with the latest software pre-installed? It's easy enough to check and do the software update - unless it completely kills it as one of mine did, but that was replaced with a new one by B&O under warranty.
Shop around for the best price. The 3 year warranty is the same no matter where you buy it so long as you register it online with B&O. It's automatic if bought direct from B&O.
