Are there any know issues with new Apple TV 4 when using with BeoVision 11-46? How can we access Siri using Beo Remotes? is it too early for B&O TV users before we take advantage of the new mic controls via remotes?

BV8 and BV7 are working in Australia.

Probably yours will too.

I don't see how the Siri function will be delivered through Abby current B&O remote.

I have already got used to having both remotes next to me.

And games will usually need the new Apple remote's touchpad.

I'm hoping it doesn't take years for Struer company to make a unified remote that works for all

b&o is never going to make a siri remote. so don't hope to much. Siri is patent by apple so i don't think any brand is able to do that.

Push the red, green, blue, yellow buttons simultaniously and say 'Hey Beo'.

All we need is a software fix that let apple tv know what i'm talking. Of course no one expects a Siri on B&O products.

What did you then actually mean by this?

we can't use current remotes to play games when connected to Apple TV. so I was hoping for unified remote to catch up & works with modern technology

@rgadde

I guess this is a question of, what a person needs.

I am not for gaming (not even at the ATV), so for me a Beo remote with 'gaming support' is nonsense.

By the way - the AppleTV very much rely on 3rd party controllers for gaming!

The beauty of a Beo remote is, that you can access your sources and your presets (e.g. Speaker Group) directly and you can navigate in the menus in a simple way.

Adding gaming support would - imo - contradict the concept of a Beo4/BeoRemote One and the userinterface of the B&O devices.

What do you mean by 'catch up and work with modern technology'?

You said "The beauty of a Beo remote is, that you can access your sources and your presets" -- apple tv isn't hardcore gaming console (yet),  in a way you need a touch enabled remote instead buttons and B&O isn't quite there yet . By introducing the need of additional (simple) controllers defeats the purpose of universal remote that B&O supports today.

Depends how extreme your definition of gaming is.

The Siri Remote's touchpad is fine for the 6 or 7 games we now have on the new ATV.

As I said above - I am not into gaming. Not at all!

That is probably the reason, why I am not interested in the extra remote on the table.

Siri won't work in Denmark (e.g. in danish). No details yet about when that will happen.

So that couldn't be a reason to use the A remote - not that I can imagine me talking to the screen, either.

I'll probably be fine with the PUC-controlling of the few apps, that I'll need/find interesting.

'My' new ATV has not even been ordered yet - but probably will be soon ;-)

I'll report back, if I should change my mind concerning the A remote.

One should never say no - I heard a wise man say.
