It's me again :-)
I just got my first Beo-System a week ago, a beosystem 4500 (amp, cd, tape) with a pair of Beovox Pentas.I got it for 530 euro. But the seller also have a pair of Beolab Penta Mk3 with i can get instead of the Pentavox (have to pay 300-400 euro extra)
My question is; Is it worth the extra 400 euro? As of now I'm using the setup as a bedroom stereo. And I'm a bit concerned that the extra electronics in the Beolab version could cause trouble in the future...Expensive trouble...
So what does the Beo-Lords of the forum say?
Thanks! / Totte
I don't think i'll go for a newer system... Is the sound quality worth the extra bucks?

They were (so to speak) your new BedLab Penta's, then ;-)))
If the amps are ok, you should go for these - you'll be more flexible in the future with the Lab-version.
In case 'anything should go wrong', you could always disable the amp module and let the BeoMaster 4500 drive them.
Enjoy!
