Connectivity - BL3s, BV 8-32 and iphones

Hi

I am looking at getting a set of BL3s to run off my BV 8-32 ( so I can enjoy movies better  ;-)   )   but also wondered if I could use the tv like  a "switch" to either use the BL3s off the tv, or switch the tv picture off and connect an iphone to the tv to drive the speakers through the tv?

Can I do this or do i need to buy a switch box for the BL3s to swap between input from the tv or iphone please?

I use my tv to drive my existing analogue amp and the signal is a bit low, so not sure if I will also need some form of pre-amp as well.

You might be able to trick the [CAMERA] port on the left hand side of the screen to accept a L+R audio feed however I expect you will need to "trick" the TV into "thinking" that a video feed is also present
