My  SC70 TEAK cabinet is in excellent condition but the rest of the room is in Rosewood, I have tried over the last year to find one in rosewood but without success. I am considering dyeing it with Rosewood dye.  I don't know if I could bare to do this. I would rather do a straight swap if there was one in England.  Has any one had any success with dye / staining these pieces of art?

You can darken it but you can't make it look anywhere near rosewood.
The wood grain is so different.

Thank you Martin, That is what I thought.   I think I will just have to keep looking for a Rosewood SC70 and not try to change what I have.

         Thank You, John.

Hi John This might be a long shot, but I am looking for a TEAK SC 70 for a Beocenter 7007 which I will be getting shortly. If you still have the Cabinet and would like to sell it, could you let me have photos and price required. I live in The North East so collection would not be a problem. Ever hopeful ! Cheers Mike
