I have a Apple TV 4 on a Beovision 10 46

Apple TV connected, iR glued, set the PUC to Apple TV.

works perfect J

now update to 9.1  and now the GO / Center button on Beo4 no longer works inside Movies. (simpleX and Plex)

before the update I could do so Pause / Play inside the Movies.

Everything else works - all menus and such. To enter Apps or start Movies work with the Center Button.

only this Play / Pause function is no longer working.

somebody has any idea ??

I have an older version of Apple TV and thus only have IOS 7.2.  I don't know why the problem you are having is occurring, but might have a solution.

Several years ago when I first purchased my first Apple TV, instead of using the Apple TV PUC, I used the "Learn Remote" function under "Remotes" in the Apple TV  settings menu.

I selected another puc and then went through and used the learn  function and was able to get more commands for Apple TV to work, than were in the Apple puc at that time.

I don't know if that function still exists with your version, but if so, might be a way to fix the problem if you get the Apple TV to "learn" the now missing function.

Glad it solved the problem.

In my own quick test with SimpleX I got "Loading ..." and so I gave up after a while and tried Plex.

Plex loaded and I struggled to get a restart of a movie that had been sleeping ... So I started it afresh and was able to start, pause, continue, pause, dash forward in 20? Second increments the [>] key next to (GO) and continue again and pause again.

So I am not sure where your initial issue arose.

My BV8-40s Apple PUC software is circa 1H2012.

To confirm after additional testing with SimpleX and Plex.

The (GO) button for pause and play works (mine is an old Beo4 ie without any joystick) on Plex.

The (GO) button does not work for pause and (restart) play on SimpleX; however it does work for selection of menus.

I did have to force a lost connection between SimpleX on the ATV4 and the MacMini running the Plex host/server.

How I did this for sure I do not know, but whenever Apps on the ATV4 start misbehaving I double click the home button on the Siri remote (seemingly no Beo4 equivalent for that !) and the flick off (ie cause the Apps to terminate being suspended in the background and therefore release memory). This seemed to have contributed to SimpleX doing a proper reconnection.

BTW and FYI I was happily switching between Plex pauses and SimpleX restarts (and vice versa) of the same movie with barely a frame drop -- which should be expected seeing as it is the MacMini Plex host that is storing the bookmark automatically.
