When using a Beo4 remote to check the SW version (MENU + 0 + 0 + GO) on a BL3500 which is connected to the ML-network but in standby mode I, the display shows (when pressing MENU) ON 0:00 and when I'm finally presses GO button the display acknowledge with STORED. So to me it looks like that I've stored a timer setting.

What I'm I missing out here?

Well, figured this one out after a while and it seems that the BL3500 can't be connected in any way to the ML-network and I needed to power off the unit for a while and powered it on again (still without ML-connectivity)  - Disco! It shows the SW version as seen below:

By pressing MENU you open the wake-up Timer menu. Enter Time for ON and OFF press GO.

If you want the service menu for sw version and similiar information press MENU - MENU - 0 - 0 - GO (if I remember correctly).

To scroll through the lines press up/down buttons.

There are also different service modes for speaker calibrating, masterlink information, open masterlink port, mlgw compatibility...)

Just press MENU - 0 - 1 - GO for speaker calibrating, MENU - 0 - 2 - GO / ML errors, MENU - 0 - 3 - GO / open ML port, MENU 0 - 5 - GO /MLGW

Latest sw is 3.34 (?)..not quite sure...

Hi Stefan,

You're correct, when the unit is connected to the ML-network, it provides the SW version when pressing MENU + MENU + 0 + 0 + GO. Good to know. I was checking in the service manual which doesn't indicate hte extra MENU when being connected to an active ML-network.

About the latest SW it at least seem to be said in this forum that it's 3.33. But, if you have ref to newer version (3.34) and as well what has been changed compared to 3.33, that would be great.

Thanks!

Yeah, 3.34 is the latest version as I upgraded the software on the BL3500 in my bathroom a few months ago (from a much earlier software version).

I'm not sure what changed between 3.33 and 3.34. v3.3 added MLGW compatibility and I guess the minor revisions since are likely to just be bug fixes.

Martin.
