I bought my beocentre 1 tv in 2000 and it has never been moved in fact its been in storage for a large part of its life however it was moved last week and the outer slightly curved glass screen smashed so i had to struggle and take it off with little other damage!!
I know this TV is not made any more but is there any way of replacing the outer screen at all?
It would be cheaper to buy a replacement TV judging by the cost of the last contrast screen that I bought.
Regards Graham
...or finding one that doesn't work with a perfect screen. If it's anything like the Avant, it should be very easy to swap over the contrast screen.

How much are contrast screens even though they are not being made any more? Is there a resting place for contrast screens at all...anyone?
Probably you could buy a broken Beocentre1, to cannibalize it, and use his screen. Ebay?
Beovision 10-46, Beocenter 1, Beo 4, Beocom 4, Beolit 12, Beosound 4, Beosound Essence, Beolab 6000
I bought 2 contrast screens for 28" Avant RF's NOS for 50 euro from a B&O dealer.

Hi do you require the screen for your bc1?
regards Maurice
I have a contrast screen I could let you have for the cost of postage and packaging only - the screen is free.
PM me.
