Hoping someone can help - I have a BV6-22 in my bedroom with Apple TV, it is linked to a BM5500 in the sitting room with a long HDMI cable from the Apple TV to a projector
Both the BV and BM are set to Option 2, when I had a BM6500 which is now used in another property I could press Sat and control the Apple TV through the BV in the bedroom and see the picture on the projector. Now with the BM5500 I have to press AV and then SAT to do the same.
I have tried all option settings and wondered if the BM5500 just has different software and is unable to do it in the same way? As it is a bit temperamental I wondered if I should just buy another BM6500 to get the same functionality back - the problem being that this would also mean getting a preamp for the beogram.
So my question is have I got the option settings wrong or is there a setting on the Beo4 that will automatically switch it to AV for video commands?
