I decided to purchase a Beoplay A6 and replace my Bose Soundtouch.

Love the look and the sound.

I also discovered ( with the help of B&O service pros) that the initial setup with iPhone can be accomplished better by using a wired rather than a wireless approach.

1) turn machine on

2) connect the router to A6 by cable - you will hear a little beep and both lights turn white.

3) Turn on your &B&Osetup app

4) find your A6 - look for updates and update - takes 15 minutes or so, flashing red light turns to solid white.

5) go to your A 6 product in the app and select the wireless network you want to join.

6) disconnect the cable and enjoy the music!

No wonder I still prefer land lines to mobile!

This is exactly what I've figured on my own after the wireless setup failed to show A6 in the very first step.

Could be also the way my wireless network is set up, however good to know for future A6 owners. Just connect for the initial setup via LAN cable and it works very easily.

Hi

That's what I did for mine and it works a treat.
