Hi guys. I tried going into the B&O store to get an answer on this, but they directed me here. Had a look through the forums and couldn't see it asked already. I have a BeoPlay A9 and a Technics SL-1200 record player which I'd like to play through it. I've tried plugging it in, but couldn't get it to work. Is there something I'm missing? Do I need a preamp?

One of the things you might want to try is to change line-in sensitivity to "high" via Beosetup app, and then slowly increase the volume on A9 (could be the signal level out of your record player is very low).

Does the technichs have a built-in RIAA? If not, you will need one.
