Just a quick note regarding experience transfer to potential Nvidia Shield TV buyers:
1) It works seamlessly with my Avant - the PUC codes and the BeoRemote One mapping is excellent. The codes are available for download through the tv interface, of course. The IR-receiver is easy to identify on the Nvidia box.
2) I did get the Pro edition with the larger hard drive - This was wasted money as I primarily use it for streaming YouTube and Netflix. Get the entry level model if you want to primarily stream content.
3) I tried to use an inexpensive 10m HDMI cable (but still High Speed) and was not impressed. Replaced it with a £125 HDMI cable from Monster and the difference was as clear as 4k :) Funny, but the price for the HDMI cable is about the same as the Nvidia box with the small drive... Only HDMI 1 can be used (requires HDCP 2.2 and HDMI 2.0)
4) Forget about wifi - this box will have to be plugged into your router.
5) B&O recommends setting Netflix to display 4K 23.976 Hz. This is my experience as well.
The Nvidia box will handle all 4k codecs (as you know: YouTube and Netflix use different systems for 4k).

Thanks Roger.
And is it (the difference) worth it???

There is a tv - and there is a BV
Not that impressed with the Netflix 4k catalogue and the quality, much more pleased with YouTube - and discovering that there is so much material on YouTube in 4k.
Thanks for your report and recommendations.
How do you mount the Nvidia Shield? Do you know a solution where the Nvidia Shield is mounted on the back?
Thanks and best regards!
