Since the last software update when I turn on the DTV/ Smart function I get the apps page with all the rectangles for iPlayer, Internet etc etc but the selection highlighting has gone so it's near impossible to know what you are selecting. The search function at the top of the page cannot be used because the keyboard no longer comes up.
There do appear to be some new TV On Demand choices that appear alongside the B&O advert top right on this page. The strange thing is that you can get the TV On Demand selections to highlight, and also the B&O advert will highlight. If you click the advert the cursor does appear but only when viewing the B&O pages.
Does anyone else have this problem or does something need resetting on my TV?

I've just had a customer email me to say the DTV is playing up where the remote doesn't seem to be working on it..
Anyone else have these issues?

I have the same problem on my BV11 - can't tell what app I'm on. This only happened recently.

It's a relief to know that it seems to be a software problem that will ultimately be corrected. I reported the issue using the apps feedback link on the TV... but I don't know whether that feedback goes to B&O or the Smart consortium (or whether, for that matter, it gets used for problem reporting, although there was a button to report the apps not working.)
Same issue with the V1. Must be recent too. Do we wait for the next update?

Hopefully B&O dealers will be swamped with similar queries on Monday (if not before) from non-Beoworld owners of BV11's and V1's and HQ will get onto the problem asap.
A short term but not very satisfactory fix is to go to the green 'Move' button when it appears on the bottom of the screen. That then shows the selected app after which you should press green again to cancel the move. Having identified one App you can then count left or right to the one that you are trying to open (and check again if necessary with using the green button twice).
This problem also exists on my Avant 55. I have emailed B&O support.

And i Jolly miss the display on my penta's with this tv.... :-(

I sent an email on the B and O site. Might be an idea for all of us to do the same?

We (Bang & Olufsen of Lincoln) have reported it to B&O this morning. Its affected every single display TV and two customers have reported it today so far :-( will keep you updated!

Still no change this morning.
My TV is set to automatically update at 3am GMT. Because some people evidently do not have a problem I am guessing that there must have been a particular period when the available software updates were corrupt.
Anyone know how to do a forced manual software update? (Not an option in the BV11 menus).

That's interesting, but how is it that some users in this thread say they haven't got a problem? Can it just be the Smart portal?
I am aware of a dealer managing a forced software download that eliminated the problem.... hence my question above asking how to do a manual download.
No Idea. I have an Avant 55 with teh latest software updates and it snot possible to see teh highlighted icon in webmedia.
Although I did manage to access iPlayer last night using the green move and guess option!
Basically - press green to activate Move then Done. Then count the clicks to the right to get to your icon (iPlater etc) and select.

Well I disagree...if you are not in UK and have a VPN configured in your router with a UK landing IP address, all of the BBC iPlayer is in full HD and looks amazing on the Avant 55.
I must admit, that I hardly ever use the WebMedia part of my V1.
Having read these posts several times, and having had a go on the HM yesterday, I still fail to see, where the problem is.
I thought it worked almost as last time, I tried.
OK - something new up above beside the B&O add (called 'TV on demand'), that turned out to be pretty uninteresting (to me). I don't think I miss anything not using Euronews etc that way.
The icons in general highlight, when using the joystick on my Beo4/navi - like before.
And the keyboard comes up, when clicking in the search field.
All in all, I recognize no problem/s - apart from the fact that (as Michael) I find the HM rather miserable ;-(

P.S. I don't use Deezer - can't say anything there.
I only use Spotify from the tv itself occasionally - last time for a longer time was a while ago. Testing just now, the Spotify part worked as ever.

MM - the issue on some TV''s it seems (mine is a brand new fresh out of the box Avant 55) is that when you are in the Webmedia page itself, you can no longer see the highlight behind the icon as you navigate.
Also the title of the page 'Webmedia' is no longer present on the top left of the page.
It seems that B and O are on the case and I guess a new version will be released soon. Like others, I was also looking for a 'Reset TV to factory settings' option - it doesnt exist.

I mean exactly what I say and you describe. It seems that your webmedia home page works, with the choices highlighted by using the Beo4 joystick to move around. On my TV, and many in this thread, the highlighting has gone so you cannot see what you are selecting. So my assumption is that, depending on the exact time your TV was set to update its software, some of us downloaded something incomplete or corrupt.
I have just tried Deezer and can only get a page up with the name Deezer on it ((no free excerpts or Deezer radio) Spotify asks me to subscribe, YouTube seems to work but will not let me exit unless I go to Spotify or Deezer.
As far as some comments by others are concerned.... I personally expect all these functions to work or be available whether I use them or not.

I have the same software update, with a release date of 08-12-2015. I can't remember the exact date that the TV showed that the update had taken place.
Software coding is definitely not a B&O strong point. They messed up with almost every release.
Last year, I had to wait close to 9 months until the teletext bug they had introduced with a SW release had been fixed. Teletext all of a sudden did no longer work. It took several months to pinpoint the issue. And this same issue could also be a factor in the latest buggy release:
Teletext did no longer work because I had the default menu set to English. If I changed the language to German, I was able to access Teletext of German speaking TV stations. If I wanted to read the text on a French speaking station, I had to switch the menu language to French. After 9 months the bug was finally resolved.
Still no change or overnight update.

Just had a near identical response.
My homepage has now rerurned to normal working, with the highlighting of apps allowing normal navigation.
Deezer is still an inactive page.
Ours seems to be back to normal now. We never use deezer but hope the Spotify interface improves one day to at least equal that on ipad
Deezer (non subscription version) is now working again. I had to switch in and out of the application several times before the blank Deezer page disappeared and the navigation page reappeared with music.
So it looks as if the problems are resolved. Incidentally, the Beovision software does not appear to have updated, so this may have all been due to smart platform issues and Deezer issues. Or is that too much of a coincidence? I didn't get any follow up emails from B&O or Beocare to say that the problems were resolved or with an explanation.
ok, now it is working as before, but
1. the mail app still does not store the account for more than one day,
2. i can't start the tv directly with webmedia, it fails with a 'no connection to internet' message
